Promotional video - Rotoscoping (Santorini)

For this video, I was told to make a rotoscoping animation using After Effects. We were asked to create two to three layers of animation for this assignment. The video I chose to make the animation with was from a European trip I went on with my cousin Max in 2022. For the first layer, I sketched three different abstracts on pieces of paper with oil pastels and markers, then took a picture and uploaded it to After Effects. I then changed some color settings and tried to create movement with the photos by creating a moving effect. For the second layer, I was able to trace over each frame and create the animation of my cousin. This project was a lot of fun and I can't wait to create more animations!
