Painting 101 - Final Project (landscape)
This painting was made for a final project I completed for a Painting 101 class. I was required to choose one of the assignments we had previously done, but with an upgrade of mixing in other qualities. I mixed a live landscape with an inspired master copy of one of Kehinde Wiley's works. This was created with gouache paints using only the primary colors for mixing the colors you see in the painting.
The first photo is the final painting I turned in, second photo was the landscape I painted (Seward park in Seattle, WA), and the last photo is an art piece by Kehinde Wiley that I used the background for inspiration in my work.
